Our union promotes its objectives through the development and promotion of civic values, providing voluntary opportunities for community integration of ethnic minorities and participating in activities that facilitate and ensures the sense of belonging among ethnic minorities groups.
Our organisation promotes cultural heritage and identity through Igbo language, organising cultural events and awareness. We also offer programmes that focus on the intergration of newly migrated members and non-members into the local community. Our chuldren are taught the Igbo traditional culture and language and also encouraged to be proud of their heritage.

Membership is open to any Igbo speaking person and their families. However, membership is also open to persons of like minds and people who are favourably disposed to enjoying and participating in the activities that define the association.
